Luceplan Javelot

The Luceplan Javelot family includes the two lamps Javelot Macro floor lamp (Terra) and Javelot Macro ceiling light (Soffitto). The Javelot floor lamp is an impressive lamp for indoor and outdoor use. It has modern LED technology. Odile Decq designed the lamp series in the year 2010 with an aluminum body in black and conical light tips made of satinated methacrylate. In each of the six light tips of the floor lamp, an 8 watt high-power LED is integrated, which emits suggestive light. The three "spearheads" of the Luceplan Javelot Macro floor lamp are different in length, cross over on the shaft thanks to an asymmetrical connecting element, creating new choreographies of the light.

The three elongated elements of the floor lamp can be adjusted at any time, so that the orientation of the light can also be adjusted again and again. The height of the lamp is 250 cm, until the end of the lamp rod, the lamp is 222 cm high. The ceiling light Javelot Soffitto also included modern LED technology. Two LEDs with an output of 8 watts and a 3,000 Kelvin colour temperature are integrated in this light. The ceiling light is 255 cm long. Especially when a combination of several ceiling lights or when the floor lamp is combined with the ceiling light, a futuristic ambience is created. Odile Decq designed the lamp series in collaboration with the architectural studio ODBC (Odile Decq-Benoît Cornette), which she herself founded with Cornette. The series served as an extension of the Museo d'Arte Contemporanea di Roma (MACRO), the Museum of Contemporary Art in Rome.
