Ingo Maurer Mahbruky floor lamps
The Ingo Maurer Mahbruky is an individually in handwork made lamp, so that every lamp from the series is unique. Each lamp shade is folded individually in up to eight work processes and drawn into shape. In total, this lamp is made up of five side-by-side light rods each with one shade. The position of the individual shades can be freely varied. Above each shade, adjustable mirrors are installed, which can be used to create different light reflections. The light from the floor lamp is emitted uniformly and glare-free into the room. Includes two electronic transformers which can be dimmed separately from each other. This light was created in 1998 by Ingo Maurer, his team and Dagmar Mombach. The floor lamp is part of the MaMo Nouchies collection consisting of several lamps, which was created after inspiration by the sculptor Isamu Noguchi. The name MaMO Nouchies is composed of the initial letters of the three designers.
